This review may contain spoilers.
Season four of Chuck is currently two for two in episode titles that refer to the obstacle of the week for Chuck (Zachary Levi) and Sarahs (Yvonne Strahovski) relationship. In Chuck Versus The Suitcase, the aforementioned suitcase is Sarahs — she has been living with Chuck for eight months, and she still hasnt unpacked.
Its not really that big of deal … until Morgan (Joshua Gomez) plants thoughts of a relationship Achilles Heel in Chucks mind. Then, like clockwork, Casey reaffirms Morgans nonsense by pointing out Sarahs demeanor as she prepares for this weeks mission to Milan; Now there is a woman in love. No one loves a mission more than Walker.
Caseys (Adam Baldwin) always around to play on Chucks insecurities, isnt he?
This weeks Greta (played by Olivia Munn in the season premiere) was played by the Old Spice man himself, Isiaiah Mustafa. With his winning smile and his ability to tower over Morgan (like the rest of the world), he helps keep the new and improved Buy More working at optimum efficiency. Of course, thats not very Buy More-like, so its pretty obvious to tell that somethings up. Morgan shows his usefulness in that department by being an expert in all things Buy More.
The whole mission during Fashion week worked surprisingly well. The super model/spy didnt seem as ridiculous as it sounds on paper, and her fight sequence with Sarah was simply beautfiul.
Also, the return of Jeffster (Scott Krinsky and Vik Sahay) and the rest of the Buy More extras could only have been better if it had been a Jeffster cover of Feed My Frankenstein over the moment instead of the original version.
What Didn’t Work
It seems that the storyline of Casey and his estranged daughter Alex isnt going away anytime soon, and neither are all of the unnecessary obstacles in Chuck and Sarahs relationship. One is boring, and the other is annoying — but luckily were getting both.
Also, was that blink and you miss it moment the only contribution of Bronson Pinchots character to the episode?
