Loyal fans who can’t wait until next month's release of “Star Trek: Into Darkness” will have a chance to see one of the beloved episodes of “Star Trek: The Next Generation” on the big screen for one night only.
"The Best of Both Worlds" comprising the third season finale and the fourth season premiere first aired during Summer 1990. This two-episode arc has been digitally remastered as a full-length feature, presented in high-definition. Audiences will also enjoy the documentary, “Regeneration: Engaging the Borg,” a behind-the-scenes look at the making of this story.
The event will be seen in more than 550 select movie theaters across the country on April 25. For a complete list of theater locations, visit the NCM Fathom Events website.
The night is intended to promote the release of the much-anticipated remastered third season of TNG on Blu-ray/DVD at the end of this month. Fans who haven't secured their tickets yet are in luck: The universe’s renowned Star Trek authority, Larry Nemecek is sponsoring 10 lucky winners on his blog in five cities across the country.
Contestants must be able to attend the screening in either Phoenix, Kansas City, Philadelphia, Cleveland or Boston in order to win. From the Greetings from TREKLAND website, send your email and mailing address with the answer to this question:
In "The Best of Both Worlds" (parts 1 and/or 2), what is the character name of the actor/actress who also played a senior member of the crew of the original “Battlestar Galactica?”
The deadline to enter is April 21 at 6 p.m. ET.
