Nick Stahl, who took on the coveted role of John Connor in "Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines," is apparently missing. At least that's what his wife, Rose Murphy, is reporting to police.

Stahl was last seen May 9, according to the report. Murphy said her 32-year-old husband has been frequenting the bad parts of Los Angeles in recent months, and is likely involved in drugs, according to TMZ. This is not a new allegation against Stahl. In February, Murphy went to court to limit Stahl's visitation to their 2-year-old child, claiming she didn't want her estranged husband around their child if he was on drugs.

Despite the problems Stahl's wife claims he has, the actor has been busy. He just finished work on an independent film from director Janusz Kaminski called "American Dream," and late last year finished a drama opposite Ray Wise in "Away From Here."

He was most recently seen on screen last month when he played Marcel Trevino in a two-part episode of "Body of Proof" for ABC. However, he also appeared in an episode of "House of Lies" this year, and several projects last year, including the broken pilot "Locke & Key."

Genre fans are most familiar with Stahl for his work in a number of projects in the early 2000s including "Rise of the Machines" from director Jonathan Mostow, and in his starring role as Ben Hawkins in the HBO series "Carnivale."

He, of course, got his major start opposite Mel Gibson in the 1993 film "The Man Without a Face," and would receive recognition for his work from the Screen Actors Guild in 2002 when he would be part of an ensemble cast nomination for "In the Bedroom" with Sissy Spacek, Marissa Tomei and Tom Wilkinson.

TMZ said Stahl's publicist had no comment on the matter.
