If you were watching "Eureka" recently and your Spidey Sense went off, don't be surprised, because Stan Lee is on his way to the popular Syfy series.
Lee, the 87-year-old co-creator of such comic powerhouses as Spider-Man, the X-Men, the Avengers and more, has already made his way to Vancouver to shoot an episode of "Eureka" that will air later this season, according to TV Guide. Details of Lee's character is under wraps, but Lee apparently told Twitter followers that he was rushing to Vancouver to film a guest spot.
Trevor Jackson, who plays the young Kevin Blake on "Eureka," mentioned in his Twitter Wednesday that Lee was on the show's set in Vancouver, and he missed it.
Lee is not the only familiar face making its way to "Eureka." Ming-Na, who plays Camile Wray in Syfy's "Stargate: Universe," also will make a guest appearance on "Eureka," playing yet another tough bureaucrat. Ming-Na will portray Alice Wen, a senator who has some pressing business with Global Dynamics. And unlike the reports of Lee's appearance, Ming-Na could be back for more than one episode, TV Guide says.
Although this is hardly the first time "Eureka" has shared guest stars between active shows on Syfy, Ming-Na won't be portraying anyone that has to do with the Stargate universe, as it seems those two shows are in their own worlds, unlike "Warehouse 13" and "Eureka," which seemingly co-exist on the same television plane of existence.
"Eureka" is getting its fair share of guest stars this season, including Wil Wheaton, Matt Frewer, Felicia Day and more.
It airs Fridays at 9 p.m. ET on Syfy.
