This story may contain minor spoilers about the Christmas and New Year's specials of "Doctor Who" airing on BBC and BBC America.

The final adventure of David Tennant's sonic screwdriver-carrying Time Lord is just days away, and fans are gearing up for what could be some of the most emotional moments of "Doctor Who" yet.

The annual Christmas special that has been a delight to both British, American and a worldwide audience since "Doctor Who's" return in 2005 has been turned into a two-part event featuring Tennant, John Simm as The Master, and a collection of past companions who all seem to get together every time there is some major event (you know, like the Daleks showing up, and that kind of fun).

This time, it will be to say good-bye to Tennant, and BBC and BBC America is featuring a new trailer for the two-parter which will air Christmas Day and New Years Day on BBC and less than 24 hours later each day on BBC America.
