Do you remember the ABC series "V"? It was on last year, ran for four episodes, and then put on hold until after the Winter Olympics.

But the remake of the 1980s television phenomenon is back, and some familiar science-fiction faces are coming with it.

Nicholas Lea, Lexa Doig and Charles Mesure are slated to appear in at least some of the remaining episodes of "V" in the first season, allowing fans to walk down a little bit of sci-fi memory lane.

Lea is probably best known as Alex Krycek in the cult 1990s hit "The X-Files." Although it might seem like Lea hasn't been around much, he's actually been a very busy actor, most recently doing a guest spot in "CSI: Miami" on CBS, and playing Tom Foss in the ABC Family series "Kyle XY."

Lea also had a four-episode stint on "Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda," playing T'Lorn, which just happened to be the same series Doig was in, playing the Andromeda Ascendant (basically she was the personification of the ship). Doig, who fans know is married to former "Stargate SG-1" star Michael Shanks, has been busy herself appearing last year as Risa in the "Supernatural" episode "The End" as well as Dr. Anne Young in two episodes of "Eureka" on Syfy.

She also played alongside her husband in 11 episodes of "SG-1" as Dr. Carolyn Lam, and has appeared in other shows including "Earth: Final Conflict" and "TekWar."

Mesure doesn't have a long list of genre credits, but he did play the Archangel Michael in both "Hercules: The Legendary Journeys" and "Xena: Warrior Princess." He also played Bryan in the "Lost" episode "Hearts and Minds" in 2005.

Most recently, Mesure played D.S. Zane Gerard in the New Zealand series "Outrageous Fortune."

"V" got a pretty decent start when it aired in November, earning a 6.7 rating/10 average in four episodes, according to Fast National ratings from The Nielsen Co., which tracks overnight audiences. It's currently the 20th highest-rated show on television, based on overnights and excluding non-news and non-event programming. It's just behind "Lost," which has aired just two episodes so far this season.

"V" returns March 30 on ABC.
