Syfy Gears Up James Bond, Trek Weekend

See all your favorites during Thanksgiving and beyond

Once you’re done with the family and in-laws, and for those not interested in football, Syfy is offering an alternative that is sure to get your attention.

Thanksgiving weekend on the cable channel starts off Nov. 28 with the annual two-day James Bond marathon, including all the big names behind 007 — Sean Connery, Daniel Craig, Pierce Brosnan, Roger Moore and Timothy Dalton.

“Tomorrow Never Dies” kicks things off at 1 a.m. ET Nov. 28, and includes presentations of “Die Another Day” at 6 p.m. and “Casino Royale” at 9 p.m.

After that, beginning Nov. 30, it’s going to be a Star Trek weekend, with six films from the venerable franchise. That includes “Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country” at 6:30 p.m. ET Nov. 30 followed by “Star Trek Generations” at 9 p.m.

The weekend ends Dec. 1 with an 8 p.m. broadcast of “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.”
