It’s been 20 years since Michael Jordan slipped on his Air Jordans and showed some Jordan with Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck.

Now “Star Trek: Beyond” director Justin Lin hopes to recreate magic again, this time with NBA star LeBron James.

Lin is prepping a sequel to the 1996 basketball Looney Tunes film “Space Jam,” bringing back all the popular Warner Bros. cartoons, but this time with a new star. He’s working with writers Andrew Dodge and Alfredo Botello to develop a script, and possibly have something going for next year.

James, the high-profile forward for the Cleveland Cavaliers, worked out a deal with Warner Bros. last year to move forward on “Space Jam 2,” according to The Hollywood Reporter. It would be James’ second foray into movies, after making a cameo in “Trainwreck” with Amy Schumer last year. James also has voiced himself in several television series, including “Entourage,” “SpongeBob SquarePants,” “The LeBrons” and “Teen Titans Go.”
