A performer from the popular San Francisco drag parody of Star Trek is now finding his way to a local library, as part of a reading program geared for kids.

Alpha Mulugeta, who performs under the drag persona of Honey Mahogany, will lead Drag Queen Story Hour at the Eureka Valley Harvey Milk Memorial Library in San Francisco on March 12.

In full drag costume and makeup, Mulugeta will read stories to children, as well as offer face-painting and even cookies for the children who attend. Mulugeta is actually the third drag performer who has conducted such a storytime, a partnership between the San Francisco Public Library and Radar Productions, which organizes public events that support emerging queer artists, according to International Business Times.
